From shutter to show

Commencing in February 2012 artists, Tracy Jay and Michael Bryant from Curious Digital Photography will be conducting innovative digital photography workshops for beginners to intermediate.

The workshops are aimed at cultivating photographic skills through
an enjoyable  creative process. Participants will develop skills to enhance the marketability of their images. They will deliver creative photographic briefs aligned to industry standards.

Today a broad range of  photographic equipment is accessible to everyone.  Curious Digital Photography welcomes all levels of experience for these workshops, as they will include creative briefs which are not dictated by expertise.

The workshops will be held in a studio environment at the Curious art Gallery, situated in a tranquil riverside setting with expansive panoramic views across the Tweed River to Wollumbin/Mt.Warning.

Tracy and Michael are aware there is a lot on offer for digital photography workshops and have this to say about their classes:

“There are many photography courses out there from Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Tweed Heads Coast to Byron Bay. However what we are offering is quite unique. The final outcome provides students not only with increased creative and technical skills and motivation but also an opportunity to exhibit in a special exhibition for the students in an established Art Gallery near Kingscliff.”

Participants are expected to bring a camera (any variety i.e. Digital SLR, 35mm film SLR, compact point and shoot etc.)

A workshop open day at no cost will be held mid Febrauary. Spaces are limited.
Expresssions of interest are open.
